DPT Engineering - Porsche Tuning
DPT is the product of an excellent tuning company based in Holland. An example of their abilities as engineers is demonstrated in this project. Tasked with improving the already incredible 560 bhp Porsche 911 Turbo S (991) 2 days of testing and tuning using the latest DPT FCI units and this vehicle was increased to 630 bhp with over 860 Nm of Torque. OK so DPT is mainly about tuning diesels - but this clearly demonstrates the quality of the team of engineers who are constantly working to develope our tuning solutions - solutions which will benefit us all in the use of our standard daily vehicles.
When you have decided you want to tune your car to improve MPG, efficiency, economy or performance, you then need to decide which of the many tuning options in the market to select. Select one with genuine engineering quality and understanding. Pick DPT every time.
Improve MPG - Reduce Fuel Costs
The weekly motoring magazine Auto Express have been investigating whether aftermarket chips really work to reduce MPG. They trialled our DPT unit on a Ford S-MAX 2.0 TDCi, and (in their own words) reported "impressive" results!
The unit was programmed specifically for economy, and the test showed an increase of 14% in the MPG. They also report on the other benefit of better economy which is increased BHP - another bonus of fitting the DPT unit, and how common rail engines can also have the unit programmed purely for power, if increased performance is the goal of the driver. The article also covers other benefits of fitting a non invasive DPT unit, such as the insurance backed warranty, partnership working with mainstream insurers for modified vehicles, and how straightforward the unit is to install.

Volume Buyer - Fleet User
"If you operate a number of vehicles, which may be anything from a few company cars through to a large mix of cars and light commercial vehicles make contact with us. We will happily discuss the profile of your fleet and what you are looking to achieve. Our experience to date has been that most fleet managers are simply trying to reduce their fuel overhead, although some have used DPT to provide additional power for load handling. With savings of up to 16% possible an investment in DPT units could prove to be a very low cost means of reducing this overhead. DPT units may simply be removed, reprogrammed (if necessary) and transferred to subsequent vehicles as fleet vehicles are replaced.
Our national network of installers means that if your vehicles are spread throughout the UK , this does not prevent you from benefiting. DPT may be installed at separate locations convenient for your business and fleet drivers.
We anticipate that very soon most diesel vehicles will be fitted with DPT type units to help reduce overhead, reduce carbon emissions and benefit more from the power their fleet is capable of providing. If you are a fleet manager, please contact us today. We are of course prepared to offer improved buying terms to volume buyers."
